We work directly with workshops across Indonesia to bring in pieces we actually stand behind

Handcrafted in Indonesia
All our furniture is sourced directly from workshops across Indonesia — where generations of craftspeople have worked with teak, rattan, cane, and natural fibres. We visit suppliers, inspect production, and only bring in pieces we'd put in our own space.
Teak is our most-used material. It's dense, naturally oily, and resistant to humidity and insects — which makes it the standard choice for tropical climates. A solid teak table or chair will outlast most alternatives by decades. We work with both new and reclaimed teak — recycled teak carries its own character, with a weathered grain and history that new wood simply doesn't have.
We don't work with mass-produced catalogue furniture. Every piece in our showroom is either made to order or part of a limited production run. That means what you find at Spice Interior Studio isn't available in every villa rental shop on the island.
Our showroom is in Kuta, Lombok — open Monday to Saturday. You're welcome to come in, sit on things, ask questions, and take your time. We work with private buyers, interior designers, and hospitality businesses. If you have a project in mind, get in touch and we'll figure out the rest together.
